TIMM RICHTER

Timm Richter is the managing director of NEO Culture, a company he founded together with Professor Timo Meynhardt in July 2018.  NEO Culture provides digital tools for cultural and value analysis. 

Prior to this, Timm served 5 1/2 years as the chief product officer of XING SE. 

He also worked in various leadership positions at Tchibo, TUI, and Amadeus and as a consultant for McKinsey & Company. 

Timm studied mathematics at the Technical University of Hannover and subsequently completed an MBA at the MIT Sloan School of Management in the US.

He is married and has two children.

Be satisfied but never settle.

What was your most powerful learning moment?

That I learned English properly in a three-month stay in America by only speaking English.

When others get hurt.

What was the last beautiful thing you bought?

The book “Understanding Syria” by Gerhard Schweizer.

What is that one book that will stay with you forever?

“Everyday Zen” by Charlotte J. Beck.

WHEN DO YOU FEEL ALIVE?

Riding my bike in the early morning sunshine to the subway station.

WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IN?

The miracle of nature.

What is your peaceful place?

The dunes on the west coast of Sylt.

 

What was your last good deed?

I cooked a good meal for my family.

 

What was your last dream abaout?

Spring.
