Nicole’s confessions

Q. DO YOU HAVE A ROLE MODEL OR LIFE MOTTO?

A. For me, role models are many of my friends who go their own way. I can learn a lot from them. I am also impressed by Iris Apfel, who is still a style icon at 90+.

Q. WHAT EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE STANDS OUT IN YOUR MEMORY?

A. My training in hypnotherapeutic communication, teaching me how important the voice is.

Q. WHAT CAN YOU NOT LAUGH ABOUT?

A. Statements that are contemptuous of people are repugnant to me.

Q. WHAT‘s Something beautiful that you bought yourself recently?

A. I like handmade things, most recently a lanyard made of gray-green beads.

Q. WHAT BOOK WOULD YOU NEVER GIVE AWAY?

A. Through the Wilderness to the Stars (Joanna Stratton)

Q. WHEN DO YOU FEEL MOST ALIVE?

A. Being alone in the woods when it rains.

Q. WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IN?

A. That every human being has the power to change.

Q. WHERE IS YOUR MOST PEACEFUL PLACE?

A. Gardens

Q. What was the last good deed you did?

A. A good deed is something I do without expecting anything in return. Today, I helped a successful female entrepreneur gain visibility by connecting her with the right person.

Q. WHAT HAVE YOU RECENTLY DREAMED ABOUT?

A. Travelling to the United States, where most of my family lives.

Q. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MUSIC?

A. Jazz

Q. Beginning or finishing? Which is harder to do?

A. These are qualities of one and the same energy: change. In that sense, for me it’s not a question of either/or, but how I deal with change and what it triggers in me emotionally.
