Q & A with JULIE
DO YOU HAVE A ROLE MODEL OR LIFE MOTTO?
I am impressed by people who have gained a special talent from challenging situations, which they now use to make other people’s lives easier, e.g. by choosing a particular job, their own business idea or through social commitment.
What was your most powerful learning moment?
My systemic training at the Coaching Academy Hamburg in 2019. I had several aha experiences, some of which I experienced as a major contrast to my role in performance-oriented general management for recruiting products and services. This learning experience confirmed once again how important it is for me to have an authentic, natural approach to my own resources in the workplace.
WHAT CAN YOU NOT LAUGH ABOUT?
Arrogance and devaluing people.
What was the last beautiful thing you bought?
A ring with precious stones from my grandmother, which I changed to my liking.
What is that one book that will stay with you forever?
I would tend to give away any book, because I like to pass on good books. However, my old tattered children’s songbook, “The Bird Wedding” remains with me.
WHEN DO YOU FEEL ALIVE?
I love feeling alive after a brisk run in nature.
WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IN?
There is always an opportunity in difficult or bad situations and it pays not to give up.
What is your peaceful place?
In the forest.
What was your last good deed?
A donation for the airlift from Afghanistan.
What was your last dream abaout?
I rarely remember, but graduating from university in my dreams I was still missing an exam and didn't deserve the degree. Luckily that wasn’t true.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MUSIC?
80s.
BEGINNING OR FINISHING? WHICH IS HARDER?
Finishing.
