Jerome schneider
Jerome is a strategic HR executive, leadership coach and doctoral candidate in Business Psychology at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. With more than 20 years of leadership experience in corporate HR, consulting and the public sector, he has led major transformation and people development agendas in midsized corporate groups, global logistics and military contexts. His work focuses on employee retention, resilience and sustainable people strategies in times of polycrises, combining insights from his PhD research with hands-on experience in talent development, employer branding and digital HR solutions.
In coaching, Jerome supports students in clarifying their values and career direction, dealing with pressure and uncertainty and turning the Leipzig Leadership Model into concrete next steps for their personal and professional growth.
He is based in Leipzig and the father of one daughter.

Focusing on topics I truly care about has enabled me to unlock my full potential.

Discrimination.
What was the last beautiful thing you bought?
After completing my PhD, I bought five books entirely unrelated to my research — a small celebration of curiosity beyond science.
What is that one book that will stay with you forever?
Jules Verne – Journey to the Center of the Earth.
WHEN DO YOU FEEL ALIVE?
Being with my kids or facilitating workshops that spark ideas and connection.

That there is a right place for everyone to make an impact – we just need more matchmakers to connect people and purpose.
What is your peaceful place?
A bench by Lake Constance, overlooking the water and the mountains.

Offering trust – again and again.

Helping people to achieve their goals and vision.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MUSIC?
It depends on my mood – anything from modern classical to electro and indie music.

Both come with their challenges: starting takes courage, stopping takes wisdom. Leadership is knowing when it’s time to do each.
