Jana Leidenfrost

Jana started her career on a pair of skis – her great first passion! As a former successful cross-country skier from Thuringia, she developed a fascination for psychology. How to unlock your full potential from one moment to the next? How to enter the so-called flow state? After more than 15 years of developing executives in the automotive industry and in international NGOs (including India, China, Switzerland, Africa), she started her own business in 2010 and has since been accompanying change processes of individuals, teams and organizations. With extensive training in the systemic and hypnotherapeutic fields as well as a preference for working with analogies, she takes a holistic approach that combines scientific principles with body mind work. As a writer, lecturer and honorary professor she enjoys sharing her experience and energy from personal ambition to success!

Jana’s confessions

Q. DO YOU HAVE A ROLE MODEL OR LIFE MOTTO?

A. As a former competitive athlete, my role model was always Hartwig Gauder. He was modest in times of success and confident in times of difficulty. Later, the following motto grew dear to my heart: “There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way”.

Q. WHAT EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE STANDS OUT IN YOUR MEMORY?

A. Oh – there are a lot! That’s what keeps me going: Learning becomes an unforgettable experience and then just as powerful is passed on to others! The hay harvest and cross-country skiing with my grandfather Artur, the international symposia at the Melton Foundation, our executive conferences at the Daimler Corporate Academy... and countless radiant – also touching moments in coaching.

Q. WHAT CAN YOU NOT LAUGH ABOUT?

A. Nothing

Q. WHAT‘s Something beautiful that you bought yourself recently?

A. Books! I admit in turns with shoes. :-)

Q. WHAT BOOK WOULD YOU NEVER GIVE AWAY?

A. The Neverending Story (Michael Ende)

Q. WHEN DO YOU FEEL MOST ALIVE?

A. When I am moving! Laughing… and when I am “working”!

Q. WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IN?

A. In the power of knowledge ... and the interconnectedness of all beings.

Q. WHERE IS YOUR MOST PEACEFUL PLACE?

A. In nature

Q. What was the last good deed you did?

A. A delicious school lunch for my daughter.

Q. WHAT HAVE YOU RECENTLY DREAMED ABOUT?

A. Travelling. I think of dreaming like brushing my teeth – often routine, sometimes a path to realization.

Q. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MUSIC?

A. All genres. I am impressed when music becomes “bigger” than myself and sweeps me along!

Q. Beginning or finishing? Which is harder to do?

A. Beginnings and endings are always exciting for me. I most likely need some encouragement when I have lost my flow in between.
