Christopher’s confessions

Q. DO YOU HAVE A ROLE MODEL OR LIFE MOTTO?

A. I believe life means change and thus the chance for development.

Q. WHAT EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE STANDS OUT IN YOUR MEMORY?

A. Watching my children learn: they do it through imitation and trial and error - but always remain playful. And that from the very beginning, quite naturally.

Q. WHAT CAN YOU NOT LAUGH ABOUT?

A. Anti-social behavior.

Q. WHAT’s Something beautiful that you bought yourself recently?

A. An oversized lawn mower for my “Schrebergarden”.

Q. WHAT BOOK WOULD YOU NEVER GIVE AWAY?

A. I know which one I would at least recommend to all parents: "Leitwölfe sein: Liebevolle Führung in der Familie" by Jesper Juul.

Q. WHEN DO YOU FEEL MOST ALIVE?

A. When making music. With a piece that fascinates me but also a little bit overwhelms me. And in general, when things I've been working on for a long time suddenly start working.

Q. WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IN?

A. In freedom and its limits. And that love for the people who are important to you should always have the last word in all decisions.

Q. WHERE IS YOUR MOST PEACEFUL PLACE?

A. The bakery where I have my second coffee in the morning after taking my children to daycare.

Q. What was the last good deed you did?

A. I mean I've already had to look too long for an appropriate answer.

Q. WHAT HAVE YOU RECENTLY DREAMED ABOUT?

A. It was a daydream: of an ultralight plane, during my last train ride with Deutsche Bahn ...

Q. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MUSIC?

A. Listening to hip-hop and jazz, playing symphonic works by Mahler, Beethoven as well as baroque music.

Q. Beginning or finishing up? Which is harder to do?

A. Beginning - a side effect of having learnt to stop.
